8 Geishas

This is a post about the 8 Geishas we saw in person, we were really privileged, after so many time hearing about them in the TV, etc, we see them in person!! I couldn't belive it! and not one.. eight! :) First time we saw one we were a bit frightened, because their face is so white ant their eyes so black, they walk so upright and SO fast!!
but seing them is are like a dream come true.

They came out from some expensive Japanese restaurants like this. They only accompany people, they dance, sing or talk, there's no other relationship with their customers, it is an art they study during many years.

1.-

This was the first Geisha we saw in person. She was together with a family with children.

2.-
Apareció de repente y de repente desapareció

This one appeared and disappeared extremely fast

3.-
Vista y no vista ;)

Idem

4.-
Esta iba mas tranquila

We had time to take this pic in the case of this Geisha

5.-

This was the only one who posed for all the people who was there

Look at her make up, lips, eyes, neck,.. Geisha is not the same as Maiko, Maiko is the girl who is learning to be a Geisha, Maiko have a flowered collar in their kimono, and Geishas have a completely white collar in their kimono.

6.-

This one was really fast too, I can't understand how can they walk so fast with such a high shoes!

7.-

This was the only Maiko we saw (she has a flowered collar)

Back side of the neck is not completely made up, and it is made in different ways

8.-

We saw the last Geisha through the window when we were having dinner, but I hadn't my camera next to us!
